This year, the International Space and Air Show (SIAE) was held in Le Bourget from June 19 to June 25, 2017. It was open to professionals from Monday to Thursday and was then open to the general public until Sunday. 140 aircraft were present, including a Rafale, a Mirage, a Boeing B737 Max9 and many other similarly impressive aircraft. There was also a Boeing B787-10 Dreamliner, an Airbus A321 Neo, an Airbus A350-1000 and a Falcon 8X …. In-flight presentations took place every day.

In addition to these aircraft, the Kawasaki P1 maritime patrol aircraft, the Lockheed Martin F-35 fighter jet, and the Mitsubishi MRJ90 made their first appearance at Le Bourget. Also present were the Airbus A400M, the Tigre helicopters, and the Airbus NH90 Caiman.

The SIAE in numbers:

2,381 exhibitors from 48 countries took part in the 52nd edition of this event. 322,000 visitors visited the SIAE this week, representing 142,000 trade visitors and 180,000 visitors from the general public. Total revenues of $150 billion (approximately €134 billion) were booked this year, an increase of 13% compared to 2015. American and European manufacturers Boeing and Airbus alone generated $114 billion worth of orders.
