Pr\u00e9sentation g\u00e9n\u00e9rale:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9e 70 Boeing envisage de nouvelles \u00e9volutions du 727, trir\u00e9acteur \u00e0 destination des courts et moyens courriers, afin d’utiliser de nouveaux mat\u00e9riaux et de nouvelles technologies, disponibles pour l’industrie a\u00e9rospatiale civile. Le constructeur am\u00e9ricain d\u00e9veloppe des id\u00e9es d’un avion plus allong\u00e9, plus rapide et surtout plus \u00e9conomique, le 7N7. Eastern Air Lines et British Airways sont les premi\u00e8res compagnies \u00e0 s’engager publiquement et d\u00e8s que les contrats sont sign\u00e9s, pour une commande de pas moins de 40 appareils en mars 1979, Boeing d\u00e9signe officiellement ce nouvel avion comme le “757”.<\/p>\n

Caract\u00e9ristiques commerciales:<\/strong><\/p>\n

L’int\u00e9rieur du 757 permet d’avoir jusqu’\u00e0 six si\u00e8ges par rang\u00e9e, avec un seul couloir central. Cette cabine peut accueillir jusqu’\u00e0 289 passagers selon les configurations et les coffres ont 2 fois la capacit\u00e9s de ceux du B727. L’architecture de la cabine est pens\u00e9e de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 donner aux passagers une impression de plus d’espace, de plus le 757 re\u00e7oit un int\u00e9rieur redessin\u00e9 avec des panneaux de plafond sculpt\u00e9s et un \u00e9clairage indirect plus agr\u00e9able.<\/p>\n

Les tests montrent que l’embarquement dans le 757-300 peut prendre plus de huit minutes suppl\u00e9mentaires que dans le 757-200. D\u00e9s lors Boeing et Condor d\u00e9veloppent des proc\u00e9dures d’embarquement par zones passagers pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer et fluidifier le processus.<\/p>\n

Caract\u00e9ristiques techniques:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le 757 est pr\u00e9vu pour \u00eatre plus performant et avoir un meilleur rendement que son pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur, le 727.\u00a0L’accent est mis sur les performances \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques\u00a0et refl\u00e8te les pr\u00e9occupations des compagnies a\u00e9riennes pour les co\u00fbts d’exploitation\u00a0qui ont augment\u00e9 \u00e0 la suite de la hausse des prix du p\u00e9trole<\/p>\n

Le 757-300, version allong\u00e9e du Boeing 757, entre en service en 1999 chez Condor. Avec une longueur totale de 54,5 m, c’est le plus long bir\u00e9acteur monocouloir jamais construit. Con\u00e7u pour servir le march\u00e9 du transport a\u00e9rien charter et fournir un rempla\u00e7ant peu co\u00fbteux du 767-200, le 757-300 partage le dessin de base du 757 initial, tout en ayant le fuselage allong\u00e9 en avant et en arri\u00e8re des ailes.<\/p>\n

Sa capacit\u00e9 maximale est certifi\u00e9e \u00e0 289 passagers, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses huit portes de cabine standards ainsi que ses deux sorties de secours de chaque c\u00f4t\u00e9 donnant sur les ailes. La MTOW est plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e, fix\u00e9e \u00e0 124 000 kg, tandis que la capacit\u00e9 en carburant reste inchang\u00e9e ; en cons\u00e9quence, la version allong\u00e9e a une autonomie maximale de 6 290 km (3 395 milles nautiques). Les moteurs utilis\u00e9s sur le mod\u00e8le sont le RB211-535E4B de Rolls-Royce et le PW2043 de Pratt & Whitney.<\/p>\n

Condor commande le 757 allong\u00e9 pour remplacer ses McDonnell Douglas DC-10 et proposer des services de transport \u00e0 bas co\u00fbts et \u00e0 haute densit\u00e9 vers des destinations de vacances.
